Kickabout is the daily games page for football. A new Grid, WikiFootballer, Connections and 501 every day at midnight UK, the same puzzle for everyone, one scored attempt, share your result. Plus the 38-0 season draft, World Cup 7-0 and live multiplayer. Free, no app, works on your phone.
Four daily puzzles. Each one resets at midnight UK and is the same for every player that day. You get one scored attempt, your points bank to your account, and you share the result as an emoji block. Come back tomorrow for the next one. That is the whole habit.
Football Grid: a 3x3 of clubs and nationalities, name a player who fits both, five wrong answers allowed. WikiFootballer: a career table with the name hidden, four tiers from Easy to Impossible. Connections: sixteen footballers, four hidden groups of four, four mistakes. Football 501: darts checkout with league appearances, exact zero in the fewest names.
The season games
38-0 is the long game. Draft an XI from a league's clubs past and present, pick a real manager, play the full season and chase the perfect record nobody has managed in real life. Eleven leagues, each with its own target: 38-0 in the Premier League, 46-0 in the Championship, 34-0 in the Bundesliga. World Cup 7-0 is the same engine as a knockout tournament from national squads across every era. Multiplayer puts your XI against another player's, live.
Play as a guest or sign in. Signing in saves scores across devices, puts you on the global and country leaderboards, and lets you start a friends league with an invite link so a group can compete on total points across every game.
Kickabout FAQ
Is Kickabout free?
Yes. Every game, free, in the browser. No app, no download, no payment.
When do the puzzles reset?
Midnight UK, every day. The date seeds the puzzle so everyone gets the same one.
Do I need an account?
No. Guests can play everything. An account saves your scores and streaks and adds you to the leaderboards.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Every game is built for a phone screen first. Add it to your home screen from the browser menu and it opens like an app.
