How Kickabout works

Twenty daily football puzzles. Each one resets at midnight UK and is the same for every player that day. You get one scored attempt, your points bank to your account, and you share the result as an emoji block. Mondays are the easiest. Saturdays are the hardest.

The daily games

Football Grid: football tic tac toe. A 3x3 of clubs and nationalities, name a player who fits both. WikiFootballer: a career table with the name hidden. Connections: sixteen footballers, four hidden groups. Football 501: football darts, exact zero in the fewest names.

The Heatmap: name the player from where he touched the ball. Target Man: draft a 4-4-2 whose Premier League goals hit the target. One-Two: name the teammate two players share. Teammate Chain: six degrees of football, through club teammates.

Missing XI: name the starting line-up from a famous match. Guess the Goal: name the scorer from the build-up. Top Tens: name the top 10. Fee or Not: transfer fee higher or lower. The Imposter: spot the player who never played for the club. Rarest Answer: football Pointless. Kit Clash: guess the club from the kit.

Play three and the 60-second Bonus Round unlocks. Stuck? Today's hints give you three clues before the answer.

The season games

38-0 is the long game. Draft an XI from a league's clubs past and present, pick a real manager, play the full season and chase the perfect record nobody has managed in real life. Eleven leagues, each with its own target: 38-0 in the Premier League, 46-0 in the Championship, 34-0 in the Bundesliga. World Cup 7-0 is the same engine as a knockout tournament. Multiplayer puts your XI against another player's, live. Charge Sheet makes you the chairman with the spending rules in the way.

Unlimited games

Higher or Lower on international caps and Career Path have no daily limit. Play until the streak ends.

Accounts and leaderboards

Play as a guest or sign in. Signing in saves scores across devices, puts you on the global and country leaderboards, and lets you start a friends league with an invite link.
