Football Wordle
Six daily guess the footballer games. Free, no app.
There's no single football Wordle. People use the name for any daily game where you guess a footballer in a handful of tries. Kickabout has six. Each one is new at midnight UK, the same for everyone, and you share the result as an emoji block.
Which one to start with
If you want Wordle's green squares, play The Heatmap. It's the closest: six guesses, and each one tells you what you got right. If you know careers, play WikiFootballer. If you want to keep going past one a day, Career Path has no limit.
How they work like Wordle
One puzzle a day. Everyone gets the same one. You get one scored attempt and a streak that carries over to tomorrow. Mondays are the easiest. Saturdays are the hardest. Past puzzles stay playable in the archive, but only today's counts.
Stuck on today's? The hints page gives three hints before it shows the answer.
Soccer Wordle
Same games, different name. The player pools cover the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, World Cups, Euros and the Champions League, so it doesn't matter which side of the Atlantic you watch from.
Other football Wordle games
The best known is Who Are Ya? on playfootball.games: a blurred photo, and feedback on every guess. We've listed seven games like Who Are Ya? and every other format in football games like Wordle.
