Rarer than you think
Arsenal went through the 2003-04 Premier League season unbeaten and still drew 12. Bayer Leverkusen went unbeaten through the 2023-24 Bundesliga: 28 wins, 6 draws. Neither won every game.
How hard is it in the game?
We ran 1,500 Premier League seasons against the classic field. A team rated 90, higher than almost any draft reaches, won the league 97% of the time and went unbeaten 11% of the time. It won all 38 once.
The maths is simple. A side 20 points better than its opponent wins about 92% of matches. Do that 38 times in a row and you have about a 4% chance. One draw ends it.
Where unbeaten is more realistic
Fewer games means fewer chances to slip. The Scottish Premiership is 22 games and the Belgian Pro League 30. Weaker leagues have lower ratings on both sides, so what counts is the gap between your XI and the clubs in your table, not the number on its own.

Leaderboards
Every league has its own board. It ranks your best season by wins, then fewest defeats. If two seasons match, the one with the weaker squad on paper ranks higher. Only Hard mode counts: no rerolls.
