How a 38-0 draft works
| Step | What happens |

| Set up | Pick a league, one of nine formations and a mode. Classic gives you 3 rerolls, Normal 1, Hard none. |
| Draft | Each round rolls a random club season from that league. Take one player and put him in any open position. Out of position costs him rating. |
| Bench | Five more rounds for your subs, if match events are on. |
| Manager | Choose from the managers of the clubs you drafted, topped up with the league's best. Up to 12 to pick from. |
| Odds | The bookies price your XI from 160 simulated seasons. Swap players round before kick-off and the odds update. |
| Season | Every gameweek with a live table. Add a January window and a domestic cup if you want them. |
What makes a good draft
Every player has one rating for that season. Where you play him, your formation, your manager and how many eras your XI spans all move your team rating. That number is played against every club in your table, one match at a time. The full breakdown is in 38-0 tips.
Where the squads come from
Real club seasons. Every season from 2004-05 to now in most leagues, built from Transfermarkt playing records, plus classic sides going back to the 1940s. Each player is rated against his own league that season. Only players who made a Ballon d'Or or FIFA world player podium, and greats who couldn't win one, go above 89. The top rating is 94.

What is a football draft game?
A game where you build a team one player at a time from squads you're dealt at random. On Kickabout your team then plays a full league season or a World Cup.
Is it free?

Can I choose the clubs I draft from?
No. Each round rolls a random club season from the league you picked. Rerolls swap a club you don't want: 3 in Classic, 1 in Normal, none in Hard.
Can I play the same draft as my friends?
